Why roll by hand?

Every Bitcoin key begins as a random number. The safer that number, the more places it could have been, so an attacker guessing one at a time can never sweep them all. Each roll of the dice adds a “bit,” and every bit doubles the size of the haystack your key hides in. Hand-rolled casino dice give you that randomness with no computer and no software: nothing to trust but physics.
